Where Culinary Art Meets the Science of Healthy Living
Add Time Eating Well™
Eating well should be simple. Find everything you need for an enjoyable, sustainable Mediterranean Diet—scientific evidence, delicious international e-recipes, structured weekly menu programs, and the resources you need to make healthy cooking easy.
The MFL Program: A Scientific Framework
Finally, a nutritional system built on pure, proven science.
Based on the official Healthy New Modern Mediterranean Diet Pyramid, this program adapts to the 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines, international standards, and your doctor’s recommendations. This is Culinary Medicine: a revolutionary system where e-recipes are built with precise scientific values—quantities and frequencies—that update as science evolves to support preventive health and chronic disease recovery.
The Longevity Puzzle: Gourmet Flavor in Every Piece
Because healthy eating only works if you actually love the food.
Every e-recipe is an essential piece of a puzzle. I have refined and balanced classic international dishes to ensure exceptional flavor while strictly adhering to the scientific quantities and frequencies required for health. When these pieces are assembled into your complete weekly plan, they form a personalized Mediterranean Diet Pyramid—optimized for your age, activity level, and location. This precise structure ensures your body receives the exact nutrient balance necessary for daily wellness and metabolic recovery.
A Legacy of Effortless Health
A simpler way to live well—making healthy choices automatic for you and your family.
There is no need to count calories or record daily. This chef- and science-organized way of eating is designed to become as automatic as any daily habit. It is a serene lifestyle legacy for you and your loved ones—real food, organized by science, to help you live longer with zero effort.

Guided by the Holy Spirit and a love for cooking, I advocate for a sustainable diet that nourishes both body and soul. As scripture reminds us:
"Your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit... Honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) "Whatever you eat or drink, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)

The Mediterranean diet includes all meals, without exception, when they are eaten in moderation and balanced with friends and family. With a high intake of fresh and dried fruit, vegetables, legumes, cereals, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, "The New Mediterranean diet Italian Food Pyramid" is a graphical representation of the frequencies and portion sizes of each food group. The main source of fat is olive oil, and fresh herbs are added for taste. Dairy products, red, and cured meat are consumed in moderation, along with white meat eggs, and fish.
Red wine is consumed in moderation while large amounts of water are consumed. Dessert consumption is occasionally mentioned as well.
The Mediterranean Diet's success is largely due to the portion sizes and frequency of its consumption.

How to Start the Mediterranean Diet
The Mediterranean Diet has been scientifically proven to benefit your body, mind, and spirit. If you were born or lived in a Mediterranean country, you'd naturally adopt it. However, if you're not from the region and haven't been there, trying a few recipes online might not be enough.
To lead a healthier lifestyle, you need a comprehensive plan!
Meals for Longevity offers a healthy dietary lifestyle with international recipes inspired by Italian centenarians. Our recipes are organized according to the latest Mediterranean Diet Pyramid.

Honoring the Giants: The Science Behind the MFL Program
The Meals For Longevity Program is not just a collection of recipes; it is a continuation of a scientific legacy. We honor the three pillars of Mediterranean health whose work forms the DNA of every meal we organize:
Ancel Keys (1904–2004): The pioneer who first revealed the heart-healthy secrets of the Mediterranean lifestyle to the world.
Anna Ferro Luzzi (1934–2019): The architect of precision. Her rigorous work at the Sapienza Università di Roma gave the diet its quantitative structure—defining the exact frequencies and quantities needed for health.
Carlo Cannella (1943–2011): The modern visionary. As a promoter of the UNESCO recognition, he transformed the diet into a sustainable, 21st-century system. His concept of "Quanto Basta" (QB)—the perfect balance—is the heartbeat of our "Effortless" philosophy.
"I have spent 15,000 hours reopening their studies to ensure that the MFL Program isn't just a diet, but a living bridge to their life-saving wisdom." > — Executive Chef Giuseppe Urbano
